A.C. Lynch, GPC Desig., is the founder and principal instructor of Indigenous Board Administrative and Governance Services, with a background in legal and governance administration. A.C. has worked in public service and alongside Indigenous organizations, supporting good governance through sound processes, records and administrative practices.

She created this organization in order to address the lack of practical, role-specific training available to governance administrators. Her focus is on equipping the professionals who support Indigenous governance every day with usable tools and clear guidance.

About Indigenous Board Administrative & Governance Services

Indigenous Board Administrative & Governance Services was created to strengthen Indigenous governance by supporting the professionals who make it work every day.

Governance education has traditionally focused on Boards and senior leadership, while the administrative professionals preparing meetings, maintaining records and carrying decisions forward have had far fewer role-specific resources.

Our work responds to that gap with practical education, tools and guidance designed for use within Indigenous organizations.

Everything we create is grounded in practical experience and designed to be used in the day-to-day work of governance administration.

First Nations, Inuit and Métis governance environments include distinct governance models, organizational structures, legal contexts and community protocols. Our materials are adaptable to that diversity; they do not present Indigenous governance as one uniform model.

They are intended to complement, never replace, Nation-specific and local governance knowledge, protocols and the direction of Elders and Knowledge Keepers.
